Author Guidelines

Welcome to Evidence-Based Health Care Research (EBHCR). We invite researchers and practitioners to submit their manuscripts. Please read the following guidelines carefully before submitting your manuscript.

1. Types of Manuscripts

EBHCR accepts the following types of manuscripts:

Registration and Login

Authors must register and create an account before submitting a manuscript. If you already have an account, please log in using your existing credentials.

3. Manuscript Preparation

General Guidelines

  • Manuscripts must be written in English.
  • Use a standard font, preferably Times New Roman, 12-point.
  • Line spacing should be 1.5, with 1-inch margins on all sides.
  • Include continuous line numbers to facilitate the review process.
  • Number all pages consecutively.

Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should be organized in the following order:

  1. Title Page

    • Title of the manuscript
    • Full names of all authors
    • Affiliations of all authors
    • Corresponding author's name, email address, and phone number
    • Acknowledgments (if any)
    • Conflict of interest statement
  2. Abstract

    • A concise summary of the manuscript, not exceeding 250 words
    • Structured format: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion
  3. Keywords

    • List 3-6 keywords relevant to the manuscript
  4. Introduction

    • Background and rationale for the study
    • Objectives or hypotheses
  5. Materials and Methods

    • Detailed description of the study design, participants, interventions, and analytical methods
    • Ethical approval statement
  6. Results

    • Present the findings clearly and concisely
    • Use tables and figures where appropriate
  7. Discussion

    • Interpretation of the results
    • Comparison with existing literature
    • Study limitations and strengths
  8. Conclusion

    • Summary of the main findings and their implications
  9. References

  10. Tables and Figures

    • Include as separate sections at the end of the manuscript
    • Each table and figure should have a descriptive title and legend

Supplementary Material

Supplementary material can be submitted alongside the manuscript. This includes additional data, tables, figures, or multimedia files.

4. Ethical Considerations

  • All research involving human participants must have been conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and approved by an appropriate ethics committee.
  • Authors must include a statement confirming informed consent was obtained from all participants.
  • Animal studies must comply with relevant guidelines and regulations.

5. Peer Review Process

  • All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review.
  • Reviewers are selected based on their expertise.
  • Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer comments.
  • The final decision rests with the editorial board.

6. Publication Charges

EBHCR charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover the costs of publication. Information on the APC and waiver policies can be found on our website: APC Information

7. Copyright and Licensing

  • Authors retain copyright and grant the journal a license to publish the article and identify itself as the original publisher.
  • All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), allowing for free distribution and reuse with proper attribution.

Submission Preparation Checklist

  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
